August 23, 2008: Meeting Notice - The Sayre Zoning Hearinb Board will meet on September 4th at 7:00 P.M. in the Sayre Borough Council Chambers, 110 West Packer Avenue. The board will act upon an application of Williams Toyota, c/o Nancy Beardsley, for the properties located at 228, 230, 232, and 234 Srping Street, Sayre, who are requesting a variance and/or extension of special exception for demolition of houses to allow for their expansion of a display at Williams Nissan and other such zoning relief as may be determined by the Sayre Borough Zoning Ordinance.
August 23, 2008: Meeting Notice - The Police Committee rescheduled its meeting from Monday, Septebmer 1st to the following Monday, September 8th at 4:00 P.M. in the Sayre Borough Council Chambers, 110 West Packer Avenue.
August 13, 2008: Meeting Notice - The Administration Committee will meet on Wednesday, September 17th, at 1:00 P.M. in the Sayre Borough Council Chambers, 110 West Packer Avenue.
August 13, 2008: Meeting Notice - The Shade Commission rescheduled its September 2008 meeting to September 10th, at 6:30 P.M. The commission will meet in the Sayre Borough Council Chambers, 110 West Packer Avenue. The Commission will meet on the first Wednesday of each month for the remainder of 2008 at 6:30 P.M.
August 13, 2008: Meeting Notice - The Administration Committee will meet on August 27th at 1:00 P.M. in the Sayre Borough Council Chambers, 110 West Packer Avenue.
May 14, 2008: The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Farmers Market will start on May 23rd and continue on every Friday through summer and early autumn. For more info, contact the GVCC at (570) 888-2217.
April 4, 2008: The borough's yard waste collection will begin during April according to the following schedule:
Zone 1 - 1st Friday of the month.
Zone 2 - 2nd Friday of the month.
Zone 3 - 3rd Friday of the month.
Yard waste must be bagged or containerized. Brush/tree cuttings must be no longer than four (4) feet in length and bundled together.
