July 2008 June 2008 June 25, 2008: The Urban Development and Action Grant Committee will meet on the second Wednesday of each month for the remainder of 2008. The committee will meet at The Enterprise Center, 703 S. Elmer Avenue, at noon. Please contact Mr. Phinney at 882-9324 for information regarding this committee. June 5, 2008: The Bradford County Emergency Management Agency will hold a public meeting at 11:00 AM on June 11th, 2008, at the Bradford County Emergency Operations Center in North Towanda (near State Police Barracks) to discuss the County Hazard Mitigation Plan and to solicit public input. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this plan, please attend this meeting. June 5, 2008: The Administration Committee meeting scheduled for July 2nd at 1:00 PM has been rescheduled to 5:00 PM, same date. May 2008 May 24, 2008: The Borough of Sayre requests proposals for professional services related to the design and upgrade of the North East Street Sanitary Sewer Pumping Station. Read more here. May 15, 2008: The Borough is accepting bids for the sale of a 2004 Crown Victoria vehicle until May 15, 2008, 12:00 PM. Mr. Kenneth Bailey, 209 East Lockhart Street, Sayre submitted the sole bid of $551.52. May 15, 2008: The Borough is accepting bids for a renovation project at the Sayre Historical Society Museum unti May 15, 2008, 12:00 PM.. Mr. John Obrient submitted the only bid on this project for the amount of $26,000 and was awarded the contract. May 6, 2008: The Zoning Hearing Board will act on an application from James and Rebecca Smith, dba as J and R Smith Property Inc., for property located at 120 Desmond Street, Sayre, Pa., on May 20th, 2008, at 7:00 PM, at the Sayre Borough Hall. May 2, 2008: Updated meeting schedule for Administration and Police Committees. Read more... May 2, 2008: The next distribution of bins will take place on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 4pm - 7pm at the Public Works building on South Thomas Avenue.
