ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE:
Who: Tom King/Chairperson, Robert Dydynski, Nancy Shaw, David Jarrett, Jo Ann Daly (Borough Secretary), and Elizabeth Fice (Financial Coordinator).
When: 1:00 PM on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month; every other Wednesday reserved at 1:00 PM.
Where: Council Chambers, Borough Hall, 110 West Packer Ave. What: The Administration Committee’s function is to make recommendations to Borough Council concerning financial,
personnel and administrative matters. It is also has the responsibility to prepare and review the budget for adoption by Borough Council. |

ATHENS SAYRE JOINT CODE ENFORCEMENT AGENCY: Borough of Sayre
Code Select Chapter 3.
Who: Sayre representatives: Robert Dydynski, David Jarrett, and Rose McClary.
When: 9:30 a.m., first Wednesday of the month. Any person with a disability requiring a special accommodation to attend a scheduled meeting should contact David M. Jarrett at (570)888-7739 as
soon as possible but not later than three (3) working days prior to the meeting. The Agency will make every effort to provide a reasonable accommodation.

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION (See Borough of Sayre Code and select

Who: Ed Smith/Chairperson, James Crease , and James Shaw.

Where: Council Chambers, Borough Hall, 110 W. Packer Ave.
What: Responsible for the hiring, promotion, and removal of police officers serving in the Sayre Police Department. The Commission has the authority to conduct hearings in matters of
demotion, suspension ,and removal if requested by an individual affected by such actions. |

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
Who: James J. Daly/Chairperson, Joe Sargent/EMA, Cy Morris/deputy EMA, Jo Ann Daly/Borough Secretary, Fire Department representative, Brad Wilson, GVEMS, all Council members, others as
necessary.
When: 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
Where: Council Chambers, Borough Hall, 110 W. Packer Ave.
What: Oversees emergency management issues concerning the Borough of Sayre. Coordinates among the Council, the Fire Department, the Police Department, the Police Committee, the Borough
Emergency Management Agency, and Valley Project Impact. |

ENTERPRISE CENTER BOARD:
Who: James J. Daly, Council representative to the Board of Directors.
When: 3rd Monday of each month at 12:00 PM.
Where: Conference Room, The Enterprise Center, 703-706 S. Elmer Ave. |

HEALTHCARE FACILITIES AUTHORITY Borough of Sayre Code (Select
Chapter A177, Article 3).
Who (Read Name and term expiration): William Hickey/Chairperson (12/31/11), Francis Altieri (1/1/09), Joseph Cost (1/1/06), John Stetz (1/1/10), John Sweeney (1/1/06), Denny Thomas (1/1/13),
Joseph Tigue/Asst Treas.,Gregg Hayton/Asst Secy., Francis Vail (1/1/10), and Landy and Landy (Legal Counsel).
When: to be added.
Where: Council Chambers, Borough Hall, 110 W. Packer Ave.
What: concerned with the reconstruction, construction and completion of improvements and additions to health-care facilities. The Authority possesses the power to borrow money and issue bonds
and other evidences of indebtedness or obligations of the Authority for the creation of a project-financing pool or other funds to enter into agreements with hospitals, health centers and other
health-care institutions) for the use and operation of such projects and for the security for and payment of any such Authority</ |

Where: Joint Valley Sewer Authority, 1 South River Street, Athens.
What: oversees the operation and administration of the sewer plant.

When: Meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

What: Responsible for the preparation of the Sayre Borough Comprehensive Plan; preparing and presenting revised Zoning Ordinances; and making recommendations to Sayre Borough on proposed
amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. |

When: Meets monthly on the 1st Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

What: Oversees various police department issues. Coordinates with the Mayor and the Police Chief. |

| ZONING HEARING BOARD |
Who: Andrew Hickey/Chairperson (2/1/07), Karen Cooley (2/1/06), Cyril Morris (2/1/05), and Maureen Bierne/legal counsel. Alternates: Richard Ault.
When: Meets as required. Meetings announced in Legal Ad section of the Evening Times.
Where: Council Chambers, Borough Hall, 110 W. Packer Ave.
What: The Zoning Hearing Board has exclusive jurisdiction over issues concerning land use ordinances, appeals, variances, and such other issues that may come before them. A more complete
